Organizational Structure

NNAA organizational structure was developed with the following in mind:

--NNAA’s goal is to get something done.
--NNAA aims to translate the mission into tangible action.
--NNAA believes the best way to accomplish project work is to set up a number of committees, each with a specific purpose.
--NNAA believes that everyone’s skill should be valued equally.

With these concepts as the guiding principles NNAA adopted the following non-hierarchical  organizational structure. The Natchez Chapter of NNAA serves as the center of operation or nucleus (inner circle). The Natchez Chapter has a Volunteer Coordinator who signs up volunteers and assigns work to the various Focus Area Committees (second ring). Each committee has a Point of Contact who works with committee members to carry out the specific work projects (third ring) and report back to the Volunteer Coordinator.  The satellite chapters (fourth ring) lend support (mainly financial) for the work projects thru the Natchez Chapter, Senior Volunteer Coordinator.
